As a veteran you are entitled to benefits and health care administered by the Department of Veterans Affairs. In addition the  Massachusetts Department of Veterans' Services also assists veterans in need. The Disabled American Veterans has highly trained and qualified National Service Officers who can help you through the VA maze and bureaucracy to file claims for compensation or medical benefits. If you’re in need of a ride to and from a scheduled VA medical appointment you can contact one of our Hospital Service Coordinators. This program is manned by dedicated volunteers. We require a two-week lead time to arrange transportation.
